Learning How to Paint. Tip: VIEW other artists artwork!

I learn more about artwork, when I VIEW others artwork. I wish some teacher had shared this tidbit with me years ago. I NEVER copy anothers work, but I do get ideas about composition, style, techniques. The masters learned from others, so we should take a tip from them. I repeat, don’t copy, just view it and give it a critique. Think about the elements of design: Crazy Victor Saw Sally Run Last Tuesday. Acronym for color, value, size, shape, rhythm, line, texturetrees paintings.
